Selection Process: The artist will submit:

• Up to five (5) work(s) can be submitted. Digital images of each piece submitted should be presented in JPEG format with image size set to 300 dpi resolution, 4x6 image size, approximately.

• Selected artists must sign a contract agreement with CBD.

• All exhibited paintings and photographs must not be matted or framed

• All works must be ready to hang.

Deadline for Submission: Artists who wish to be considered for One Square Foot II must contact the gallery by May 1, 2016. Digital images must be submitted by May 29, 2016.

Timeline:

• Deadline to declare intent to participate: May 21, 2016

• Deadline for digital images submitted for selection by June 05, 2016

• Deliver all art to the gallery on June 27, 2016

• Installation: June 28-June 30, 2016

• Show opens July 1, 2016 (First Friday & Buddhist Bazaar))

• Reception: August 5, 2016 (First Friday)

• Exhibition Closes: August 28, 2016

• Pickup Artwork: August 29, 2016

Publicity: The gallery will promote the event with posters, postcards, press releases, social media, website, email and ads where appropriate.

 

Sales: All sales subject to a 40% commission to CBD

 

Security: The gallery is alarmed and monitored by CBD staff. The gallery carries limited liability insurance on exhibited works however; artists are also encouraged to insure their artwork.
